The Masai people of Kenya are very unique tribe and are widely known because
of their culture and traditions. This tribe actually has maintained their
natural ways,manners and ethical life despite the current changes of western
life which has affected many lifestyle of other countries and people. The
Masai are normads which means they keet cattles in large numbers and grace
them from one place to another in search of green pastures.They keep cows,
goats and sheep.The Masai traditionally believe that all the cows belong
to them no matter who keeps them. They usually invade villages and take
by force every cow that they get. They are warriors! They like to fight
with other tribes,burning their houses and spearing their their enemies.
In the previous years, the Masai never thought of education as important.

The Masai people like to drink row blood.They mix row blood with fresh milk and drink in the calabash or a traditional Masai jug.Other tribes may find this funny and strange!! They also kill their cow and roast the meat.

The uniqueness of Masai which attract many tourists all over the world
is about the way of dressing. The Masai have a particular red or checked
red dress which men put on.They become so nice in such attire while the
dance and sing. They normally dance in a group while they jump so high.
In Mombasa city in Kenya, many tourists are attracted and entertained in
Beach Hotels by Masai Dances and their dressing attire!

ケニアのマサイ族はとてもユニークな部族でその文化や伝統は世界でも有名です。実際この部族は、西洋式の生活様式に影響を受けて変化していく他の国の人々と異なって、自分たちの生活様式や道徳を維持し続けています。マサイ族は遊牧民でたくさんの家畜をひとつの箇所から他の箇所へ緑の草地を求めて移動させます。飼っている家畜には牛、ヤギ、羊などがあります。マサイ族は誰が飼っていようと、すべての牛は自分たちの物だと伝統的に信じています。普段からいろいろな村へ侵入し、力づくで家畜を奪います。彼らは戦士なのです！ほかの部族と戦うことを望み、家を燃やし、敵を槍の的にします。従来マサイ族は教育を重要なことだと決して考えませでした。

マサイ族は（牛の生血を飲むのを好みます。生血と牛乳を混ぜてカラバシュという伝統的なマサイの入れ物に入れて飲みます。ほかの部族から見てもこれはおかしな習慣です。また牛を殺してその肉を焼いて食べます。

マサイが世界中の旅行者を引きつけてやまないユニーク性はひとつにはその衣服にあります。マサイ族の男性は特徴のある赤の衣服あるいは赤系のチェックの衣服を身につけます。彼らはそのような衣服を身につけて踊ったり歌ったりするととても魅力的です。普通グループで高くジャンプして踊ります。ケニアのモンバサ市ではビーチホテルでマサイ式ドレスを来た、マサイの人たちの踊りを楽しむことができます。
