Build a castle of peace
Boil away war
---Cian Chew
Ingredients for Peace
Boil some happiness till its golden bright
Pour in love and stir in care
Blend Imagination with harmony
Then sprinkle compassion
Cook freedom until it dissolves
Season hope and toss in friendship
Mix it all up
Serve it in a big bowl full of life
To finish, garnish with obedience.
---Lonny Dara
Recipe for Peace
Cut war and melt
it into freedom
Combine love and
trust to make hope
Crack the egg of imagination
and find the surprise
inside that will help you
water your anger
and keep your family
close to friendship in the plate of harmony.
Communicate the recipe
so it can travel
and squeeze freedom
out of war and
serve it to the
world.
---Ahmed Moalim
Dear Sharon,
I love the poem. Many love it too.
When I introduce it to all iEARN-Japan members, one of them,Mr. Takano who is
working at school in Kynia, was very impressed and is asking me if he can
introduce it to other school organization he belongs to.
Can I say, "yes" to him, Sharon?
Hey,
I love your ideas for peace here's is what i think. Peace
2 cups of love and trust,
3/4 cups of hope and compassion
and the rest you already have. and if you want this to happen then you have
to do it.
From,
your machinto friends
